BRIDGEPORT -- Jordan Vazzano was 12-for-17 for 169 yards and three scores to lead the unbeaten Cadets (6-0).

 

Vazzano had scoring strikes of 2 yards to Mark Hirschbeck, 15 to Alex Pinto and 29 yards to Lars Pedersen, while Mufasa Abdul-Basir had TD runs of 6 and 1 yards. Abdul-Basir carried 10 times for 115 yards.

 

The Cadets' other scores came on a 4-yard run by Joey Civitella and a 69-yard run by Shane Miller.

 

Mike Schuchmann led St. Joseph defensively with 12 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.

 

The lone score for the Lions (1-5) came on a 70-yard pass from Vochan Fowler to Julian Fyffe.
